We had such a beautiful sunset last week! With all the problems Florida has endured over this past year, it was so nice having the perfect weather and our beautiful beaches back. From Hurricane Irma, the Red Tide, and now the devastation of Hurricane Michael to our friends in the north. I’m so excited for the fall rush.  The rain lessens, the water clears and the sunsets…well, those are always amazing down here.  Mom and her crew were down visiting Fort Myers and decided to go with a Petite Session as she didn’t think her girls would last a full session. Lydia and Charlotte had so much fun! They swirled, jumped in puddles, flew in daddy’s arms and danced with mom.

I love capturing a piece of their memories that I hope, as they grow, they will now never forget. There are so many memories I have as a child that I wish I had just a glimpse of in a photograph. I imagine there are even more memories buried that I would recall if I saw just a piece of that moment captured in a photo. My favorite photo from this session I think is the one of mom holding her oldest and her “not so tiny” feet dangling. I mean, come on! We all love those sweet baby toes, but I just love this one. They are never too old to be wrapped in our arms, to be carried and comforted.  Childhood moves so fast, but the season of motherhood never ends.
