Doesn’t getting married on a remote island surrounded by beautiful blue water sound like a dream?! Well for, Bethanie and Jay their dream came true. They were celebrating their wedding with their closest family and friends over whole week and had a blast. They are spending their days soaking up the sun, finding sea shells and relaxing in the tropical paradise that Gasparilla Island offers.
Little Gasparilla Island is a small barrier island only accessible by boat off the coast of Florida. When you on this little slice of paradise you only travel by golf cart. Little Gasparilla is also known to be the Tarpon capital of the world. Go check out some of amazing homes you can rent here. There are no commercial businesses on the island, so make sure you plan well in advance. Your groceries have to be purchased off island and brought on. Because there is no bridge to the island, large crowds and tourists are virtually non existent. It’s a perfect place to relax and regroup.
I loved all the simple details Bethanie chose for her special day. The gypsy sandals were perfect for the beach, a simple hair piece and I just loved her dress. It was elegant but still perfect for the beach. She even added the sleeves herself after shortening the train. So smart!
