It was a perfect morning photographing this lovely family on North Captiva Island.  We watched the sunrise as it painted the sky with just a touch of clouds and pastel colors all around.  North Captiva is a secluded island only accessible by boat or plane.  It seems to be a common occurrence now that I see dolphins every trip I take to the island.  What better way to wake up than to dolphins and a secluded tropical island?!  It really never gets old, I love it more and more every trip.

I met the Barth family at the home they rented on Gulf Lane.  It was the perfect place for a large family.  The home featured a pool and hammock with the beach as the backyard.  Amazing!  I just adored this family.  They were the sweetest group and their kiddos are all so adorable they could easily take on modeling for Gap kids.  😉

I love photographing families who are here on vacation together.  I know how special these memories are to everyone.  This family is like many who aren’t able to be in the same place at the same time.  This vacation together will be remembered forever and these kids will grow up remembering that awesome time at the beach with all their cousins, aunts and uncles, and their Nana and Papa.  Such a fun week for them!

Here are some of my favorites! Starting with a few that have been artistically enhanced as an add on.
