Sanibel Island Family Photographer
Andrea and her family came down from Kentucky once again to enjoy the beaches of Southwest Florida. They always rent a house in Cape Coral, or “The Cape” and enjoy fishing, boating and spending time together. It’s always harder as the kids get older to set aside that time as a family. In just a few years they will all be going off in they own direction, college, jobs, and even families. Andrea’s family reminds me a bit of us before we made the move. We started of renting a house with a pool in The Cape one year and we were hooked. After 4 years of vacationing down here we made the move from Wisconsin. Sure can’t beat the weather in winter!
We met at Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel Island for their session. Of course dad seems to be the goofy one and kept everyone laughing and having a great time. The weather was absolutely perfect! Sanibel is back to it’s beautiful water and shoreline full of shells. It’s the best beach to go to during low tide or after a storm to find seashells. Sanibel and Captiva have been called the Shell Islands for their abundant sea shells. And when you’re not sure on the shell you found or what to do with your treasures be sure to check out www.iloveshelling.com! Pam has so many articles on where to go, all the names of the shells you will come across in the area as well as crafting ideas!
