The Sanibel Island Lighthouse is an iconic landmark as you cross the causeway from the mainland to the tiny island. It’s one of my most requested places on the island to photograph at. There’s a little bit of everything there. Lush tropical foliage, pathways, driftwood, beach and of course the lighthouse standing tall in the background. If you’re staying close you may even be able to take the bike paths to the beach, otherwise there are multiple parking lots. Don’t forget to check out the fishing pier, there’s usually always a few fisherman out there!

Here’s another favorite from here. Every sunset is so different, the water color is constantly changing hues and the sky always a surprise.
